Paws at Work
Joining the team at Montana Murray Kennels has brought new adaptations in skills and strength. From this involvement, I've aimed towards photographing the atmosphere of the kennels and its inner workings that people don't usually observe. This series evolved to be viewed as a photojournalism narrative because it defines what it is like to be on the job within the kennels. The photographs are portrayed in the appearance of polaroids to utilize the story to be told from a different perspective. What made me go through with this series was how not only working at the kennels empowers my fondness of animals, but also it allows me to learn what it means to have a sense of balance throughout daily life and pushes me to connect with others in collaboration, coordination, and communication. In conclusion, this concept of working with both people and canines goes hand in paw in this environment of maintenance and tolerance.
